The Dairy Council of Arizona is one of the Co-Sponsors for the Teacher of the Week program. This program recognizes the hard work and dedication teachers provide to their students. Students write a letter nominating their teacher and each week a teacher is selected from the entries to become the ‘Teacher of the Week’. A surprise visit from KNIX is made to the teacher where the presentation is given live ‘on air’ and the teacher is awarded many prizes including a classroom clock and a tote bag filled with lots of goodies from the Dairy Council of Arizona. A banquet honoring all the teachers is held at Monti’s restaurant in Tempe, Arizona at the end of the school year. One teacher is honored as ‘Teacher of the Year’ and is awarded a check for one thousand dollars from Fulton Homes. The Dairy Council of Arizona congratulate all the teachers and are proud to be part of such a wonderful experience where teachers put extra effort toward educating our future leaders.
